Strategically located across the world, we are ready to respond at a moment's notice and reach those in need, in the shortest possible time. We have dedicated fixed wing air ambulances on standby in Europe, CIS, Africa, South East Asia, China and Australasia. This geographical breadth enables us to provide cover around the world. In addition to our own air ambulances, we can charter executive jets and helicopters to ensure patients receive the best possible medical solution. Each air ambulance has the latest medical equipment to cater for all types of medical emergency. This includes: - Respirators and ventilators - Defibrillators, cardiac resuscitation equipment and multi-parameter monitors - Intravenous infusion pumps - Intubation equipment - Oxygen supplies with all necessary regulators - Range of resuscitative drugs and fluids The aircraft can also be fitted with additional specialized equipment to treat a full range of conditions including severe burns, head and spinal injuries or neonatal cases. Blood for urgent transfusion can also be carried. International SOS offers a comprehensive bed-to-bed service including the arrangement of ground ambulance transfers and hospital admission. |
